1.Pretreatment workshop

Cleaning:using different size cleaning sieves and magnetic destoner barrel to clean the different impurities.After going through this part ,most of the impurities are form rapeseed.

Softing: the purpose of softening is to adjust the moisture and temperature of oil, and make it soft.

Flaking : The rapeseed pieces need be make to thin cake. at the same time, the cell in the rapeseed is broken, so the oil is easy to go out.

Cooking: use steam cooking, inject direct steam and cook the flakes to meet the requirement of oil press.

Pre-pressing:For rapeseed with high oil content, it needs pre-pressing to press part of oil firstly and then extract residual oil in cake through solvent extraction method.

(1) The material (for pretreatment) is sent to rotary extraction by the scraper conveyor. The material will extracted by the solvent or mix oil. After this step, we will get the cake and mix oil.

(2) Cake is sent to toaster. Through the toaster, the solvent will separate from the cake. The solvent goes to condenser and is recycled to rotary extraction.

(3) After the mix oil from the rotary extraction enters into 1st evaporator and 2nd evaporator, most of the solvent in the mix oil is separated.

(4) The mix oil from 2nd evaporator goes to stripping tower and almost all the solvent is separated.From the stripping tower, we can get crude oil and solvent. The solvent is sent to condenser and is recycled to rotary extraction.

Note: you can only use the physical squeeze, or leaching squeezing, also can use physics and leaching at the same time .

4. Refining workshop

Refined oil can be stored longer and taste better,the color is clear,the good quality can meet any scenario.

(1).Degumming with water to remove the easily hydratable phospholipids and metals.

(2).Addition of a small amount of phosphoric or citric acid to convert the remaining non-hydralable phospholipids (Ca, Mg salts) into hydratable phospholipids.

(4).Bleaching with natural or acid-activated clay minerals to LDorb colouring components and to decompose hydroperoxides.

(5).Deodorising to remove volatile components, mainly aldehydes and ketones, with low threshold values for detection by taste or smell. Deodorisation is essentially a steam distillation process carried out at low pressures (2-6 mbar) and elevated temperatures (180-220°C).
