1.Why does the crude oil need the refinery process?

The crude oil( vegetable oil, such as sunflower seed oil, tea seed oil, groundnut oil,

cottonseed oil, rice bran oil, soybean oil, corn oil and palm oil ) have impurities of

oil, such as, fatty acid, phosphatide, metal ion, pigment, oxide, solid particle and

volatile gas,which will affect the oil colour ,smell ect. So it must need to remove

those impurities,then you can get the standard oil.

2.What is the refinery process?

a.Refining section: used to P-acid de-gumming, alkali refining de-acid and water rinsing.

b.Decoloring section: used to remove off pigments, bleaching oils and grease dehydrate,

make the oil lucency

c.Deodorizing section: to remove off the odor components in oil, let the oil have a good smell.

d.Dewaxing section(only for rice bran ,sunflower,cottonseed oil): used to remove off the wax

in the oil, in order to get the high quality oil.

e.Fractionation section(only for palm oil ):used to get different melting point's palm oil product,

like 8 ℃,10 ℃,14 ℃,18 ℃,24℃,33℃,44 ℃,55 ℃ ect.

3.How does the refinery plant work ?

a,First send the crude oil into the mix reactor with certain quantity water and acid, after well

blended send into the centrifugal separator and then separate the oil sediment.

b.Second send into another mix reactor, adding certain concentration alkali and well neutralization

reaction. Separate the soapstock through the centrifugal separator.

c.Now wash the crude oil with ligLD alkali and water, washing out the residual soapstock.

d.Third send the oil into the bleaching tower,well blended with certain quantity clay, under the

certain temperature,time,vacuum condition,the clay absorb the colorful substance and other impurities.

Then separating the waste clay through the centrifugal separator.

e.At last send the oil into deodorization tower,under the certain temperature and vacuum condition,

deodorizing the oil through steam stripping.

4.What is the Grade of the refined oil do you want ?

Main equipments of rapeseed/soybean oil refinery machine :

1.Neutralization Tank: used for acid refining, alkali refining or washing.

2.Bleaching Tank: used for bleaching oil & removing pigment.

3.Deodorizing Tower: used for removing the odour of oil (made of stainless steel).

4.Conduction Oil Furnace: provide production with heat source, and the temperature can

reach 280 °C.

5.Vacuum Pump: provide vacuum degree for bleaching&deodorizing process, which can reach

above 755mm Hg.

6. Air Compressor: weather bleaching earth used in the bleaching process

7. Filter Press: filtrate the bleaching earth

8. Steam Generator: produce steam for deodorization and distillation process

9. Leaf Filter: filtrate the bleaching earth & impurities.
